Dua Lipa, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London she was born on August 22, 1995. She is of Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja the city of Kosovo. Lipa's grandfathers were both historians. Her brother is Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina.
